Die aktuelle sprachwissenschaftliche Forschung zeigt, dass Analysen die den sprachlichen Usus anhand authentischer Daten in elektronischer Form untersuchen, für eine große Anzahl von Fragestellungen bereits unentbehrlich sind. Der Beitrag diskutiert das Potential der korpuslinguistischen Instrumente in der Übersetzungswissenschaft und versucht auch anhand konkreter Beispiele zu zeigen, in wie weit die korpuslinguistische Kompetenz bei Übersetzungsprozessen eine sinnvolle Hilfe darstellen kann.

The current linguistic research shows that analyzes that examine the linguistic usus on the basis of authentic data in electronic form are already indispensable for a large number of questions. The article discusses the potential of corpus linguistic instruments in translation science and also tries to show on concrete examples how far the corpus linguistic competence can be used in translation processes.
