Health issues from selected secondary school students point of view in the trenčín region (Slovakia)
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The present study examines the opinions of secondary school students on health issues from their own point of view and also the extent to which their school is engaged in particular health issues. The study involved 232 students from three types of secondary schools in the Trencin region. Analysis of their responses shows that 72.6 % of respondents believe that an individual bears all responsibility for his/her own health. At a significance level of 0.05 %, it was noted that statistically significant differences in responses to questions concerning regular eating habits exist (given options: yes ? no). Most students who claim to have a regular eating regimen attend secondary grammar school St. J. Bosco. It was found that students believe that the mostimportant components of body recovery are getting enough sleep and drinking enough liquids ?73.5 % of respondents reported sufficient sleep as the most important, and 72.8 % of respondents reported a drinking regimen as most important.
