Which Truth and Love are Right for the Socialisation of Children
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The aim of the paper is to highlight the use of truthful messages and actions in the education of children at different ages. The prerequisite, however, is a correct understanding of the key concepts and the connections between them, including concrete examples from contemporary life practice, increasingly influenced by media agendas and objectives. We will point out the phenomenal correspondences between the concepts of "education" and "indoctrination" and their essential differences in the theory and practice of social development. Attention is paid to the issue of the content of education and indoctrination efforts in the field of education, where the inappropriateness of teaching methods and forms without taking advantage of the differences in the conception of science and faith towards the world and society is pointed out in particular. The text concludes with remarks on the notion of "truth", where attention is paid to the notion of its absolute validity on the one hand and its constant relativity in terms of development on the other. With regard to the attempts to distinguish between the similarities and differences in phenomena, resulting from the analysis of the development of society to date, it is pointed out that people are very deeply confused in distinguishing the meaning and significance of the concepts of education and indoctrination, faith and science, truth and falsehood, which greatly strengthens the tendency to simply accept the message without scientific evidence, i.e. on the basis of mere credulity, resulting from ignorance of the nature and content of the message. The fundamental underlying differences between the concepts of education and indoctrination are clearly defined. The danger of manipulation in the (re)socialisation of a child lies in the promotion of one claim at the expense of others. Such a danger can be reduced by understanding the relativity of the concept of truth through, for example, Comenius' understanding of truth.
