In her paper, the author analyzes the connection between the life cycle of products and services and life cycle management using tools that help reduce negative impacts of business activities on the environment, such as the quantitative and qualitative tools. From the holistic point of view, this analysis in fact encompasses the entire life cycle of products and services. Every business activity impacts the social, economic or environmental levels in one way or another. Life Cycle Management (LCM) has been developed as an integrated concept for managing the total life cycle of products and services towards more sustainable consumption and production patterns. LCM stems from changed conditions in the business environment, besides a traditional focus onperformance and departments, it is being extended to include the acquisition of information on clients, particularly in connection with their requirements on products and services, responses to market situations, changing technologies, an
