The purpose of this comparative case study is to examine the specificities of leadership in Germany and the Czech Republic by conducting interviews with German and Czech managers. The study aimes to contribute to the existing literature on leadership by providing a deeper understanding of the leadership practices in these two neighbouring countries in the European Union. The results of this research indicate that, despite their close proximity, there are considerable differences in leadership practices between Germany and the Czech Republic. To carry out this research, a qualitative approach was chosen, using semi-structured interviews with German and Czech managers. The data collected from these interviews was then analysed and compared to identify the specificities of leadership in each country. The results showed that leadership practices in Germany and the Czech Republic differed in several key aspects, including decision-making processes and communication styles. The findings have impor
