The implementation of new approaches evoked by the Industry 4.0 platform is not only a topic of technology or information technology. It has other dimensions, such as a focus on individualizing customer needs, addressing complex issues of competitiveness, but also legal issues related to technology, data protection and, of course, the world of work. Adapting to new trends requires changes in thinking, changes in attitudes towards other participants in the processes, while not betraying the basic idea, which is and always will be the orientation to the end customer. In order to achieve optimal results in the company, it is not only necessary to have the necessary expertise in management methods and modern technologies, but also to have a proper understanding for a permanent organization of the production and business process focused on customer requirements. It is clear from the presented article that the given issue - management of companies in the field of 4IP becomes the very branch of management. It has its specifics and risks and it is necessary to know and be able to manage them. We are therefore witnessing the development of a new area of management. As the article shows, it will be important for company management in the coming period to learn and implement new styles of managerial competencies and knowledge. However, where to get these "new and needs 4IR" employees. And here, from high school and subsequently university, the importance of education in new areas is growing. This means that there will be a greater intertwining of business and education. The corporate environment will demand employees and at the same time supply practitioners who will prepare, teach and test them for new roles. The importance of research into the areas of economics described here will grow. It is necessary to monitor trends, be able to estimate whether and which will significantly affect the operation of companies and react flexibly with the preparation and implementation of new necessary study programs. The frequency of changes, as can be seen, will also increase in education.
