This chapter is a part of a compendious publication about the vocational education and training in the CR.Firstly it explains background and main types of continuing education and training. Next it speaks about organization of learning, responsibility ofpublic administration and other bodies for education, access requirements to CVET. There are mentioned problems relating to complex legal regulation of CVET and to evaluation and certification system which are still missing. Another sections address todelivery mechanism of CVET and different types of its providers. Likewise the chapter brings information about acces to learning opportunities with regard to CVET funding, financial incentives to promote CVET participation, recognition of prior learningand chances of socially disadvantaged groups to participate in CVET. Final part of the chapter deals with retraining needs due to labour market developments and mobility.
