Effect of protected conjugated linoleic acid supplement on milk yield and composition of cow´s milk
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The aim of this study was to determine the impact of supplement of protected CLA on milk yield, composition and amino acids profile in lactating dairy cows. In this study, twelve high-yielding lactating dairy cows were used. However, one of cows was excluded from the experiment due to an acute inflammation. The cows were divided to two treatments: experimental (CLA) and control (C). The experiment was divided into two periods of a 10 d. Each period consisted of a 7 d preliminary period and a 3 d experimental period. The design of experiment was following: in the first period, six cows were fed with 100 g per cow daily protected CLA supplement in the experimental group (CLA) and six cows received the control diet without protected CLA supplement (C). In the subsequent period the cows were switched to the other treatment. There was unsignificant (p > 0.05) slightly difference in daily milk yield in CLA group (23.64 kg) and C group (23.47 kg). Significant differences were in the contents of milk fat and protein: 3.61 % and 3.14 % in CLA group against 3.97 % and 3.22 % in C group. In daily yield of milk components only milk fat yield was significantly affected by the treatment (0.86 kg in CLA group and 0.94 kg in C group; p < 0.001). The amino acids content and profile of amino acids in dry milk were not affected by the treatment.
