Zwischen Form und Funktion der Sprache: Zur Übersetzung rhetorischer Stilmittel in Kleists Lustspiel "Der zerbrochene Krug"

Im Beitrag wird das Lustspiel ?Der zerbrochene Krug? im Kontext der Kant-Krise im Hinblick auf die Übersetzung von folgenden rhetorischen Stillmitteln untersucht: 1. sprechende Namen (Verweise zu Naturell, Beruf oder Rolle); 2. Humor durch Doppeldeutigkeit (Missverständnissen in der Kommunikation, die zu einem humorvollen Effekt führen können); 3. Übersetzung von Sprachspielen. Anhand von vier tschechischen Übersetzungen des Lustspiels wird gezeigt, wie mit den oben angeführten rhetorischen Stillmitteln in der tschechischen Übersetzung gearbeitet wird.

The article examines the comedy &quot;The Broken Jug&quot; in the context of the Kant crisis with regard to the translation of the following rhetorical devices: 1. speaking names (references to nature, profession or role); 2. humour through ambiguity (misunderstandings in communication that can lead to a humorous effect); 3. translation of language games. Four Czech translations of the comedy are used to show how the above-mentioned rhetorical stylistic devices are used in Czech translation.
