The contribution deals with some problems and their possible causes involved in LSP teaching at PFs and points out the importance of LSP at this type of school. It emphasises the necessity of systematic approach to LSP teaching with the aim to provide the students with a desirable level of language knowledge which could be comparable to that one at other faculties or universities. This implies a suitable concept of LSP teaching with regard to specific features that PFs certainly have.
