APPLICATION OF NATURAL GAS IN ENGINES FOR HEAVY TRUCKS
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
This article describes the combustion properties of natural gas and the combination of natural gas with traditional fuels in different types of engines: Natural gas spark-ignition engines and natural gas/diesel dual-fuel engines. Improving the combustion process of conventional internal combustion engines without making severe modifications to the mechanical structure and increases economic efficiency, reducing emissions. The article statistics the research results in recent years of the natural gas spark-ignition engine made at the Technical University of Liberec. And also briefly summarizes the results of world research results of NG/diesel dual-fuel engines. Also, the authors will convert of an original engine Cummins: 4-cylinder, supercharge into a dual fuel engine using natural gas
