Constant changes are characteristic for the contemporary economic environment where business entities realize their business intentions. This development of business environment brings a new insight into the evaluation of company success (performance). This article is dedicated to the measurement of company performance using the Balanced Scorecard methodology and its implementation and use by business entities in practice. Company performance evaluation on the basis of financial metrics is quite commonin practice and well justified without any doubts, however it does not allow for a clear analysis of casual relations and factors. This article also covers suggestions of metrics and measures for the evaluation of strategic goals as well as relations andlinkages amongst particular strategic goals on the basis of so called strategic map that is based on BSC implementation in the specific company.
