The paper focuses on selected aspects of a labour market for university graduates in the Czech Republic. It uses comparison of proceeded data of real and expected earnings of students from selected economic faculties in 2012 supported with information about other variables which possibly can influence their expectations. There is a decription of key indicators of Czech labour market in 2012 and statistical evaluation of primary data of students´expectation in 2012. The paper aims to provide a reader aninsight into situatin with higher education in the Czech Republic and opens the question for future trends and perspectives in structure, number and level of earnings of university graduates.
