This paper focuses on the presentation the partial results of the doctoral thesis which deals with the auxetic knitted fabric. The splicing technology was identified for auxetic linear fabrics production, the proposal should be implemented by construction (materials, technologies, binding) of the product and its subsequent testing. The designed auxetic 2D structure was tested on the tensometer Instron 4411, while the camera scanned pictures. These sets of pictures were transformed in the NIS Elements program where the changes of the basic parameters of the plaited structure in relation to time were measured.
