Composite Fibrous Drain for Glaucoma Drainage Implants

This paper reports the development of fibrous drainage devices for drain of fluid in glaucoma disease. Small-diameter drain for drainage of fluid from the eye of the patient was produced by electrospinning technology. The main goal was the size of the implant and patient comfort. The special structure of this implant provides easy removal fluid from the eye. The material was tested for in vitro cell adhesion tests.
