Als Transferwissenschaften lassen sich Forschungs- und Ausbildungsdisziplinen zusammenfassen, denen es um die Beschreibung und Analyse von Wissenskommunikation geht und die dabei den Fokus auf sprachliche Interaktion richten. In diesem Beitrag geht es darum, ein methodologisches Prinzip zu explizieren, das all diesen Ansätzen gemeinsam ist: Transdisziplinarität. Die damit einhergehende Perspektivierung stellt Wissen und dessen Transformationen durch Prozesse sprachlicher Kommunikation in einen weiteren Zusammenhang gesellschaftlicher Aufgaben oder Probleme, die wissenschaftsexterne Forschungsanlässe darstellen, in gleichem Maße aber auch neue Blickwinkel auf intrinsisch wissenschaftliche methodologische und theoretische Fragestellungen eröffnen.

Research and training disciplines that are concerned with the description and analysis of knowledge communication and, at the same time, focus on linguistic interaction can be summarized under the heading of transfer sciences. This article aims to explicate a methodological principle that is common to all these approaches: transdisciplinarity. In this perspective, knowledge and its transformations through processes of linguistic communication are analyzed in a broader context of social tasks or problems that represent research opportunities external to science. Furthermore, it is demonstrated which new perspectives on intrinsically scientific methodological and theoretical questions emerge from this approach.
