The objective of the study was to compare nutritive value of corn forage and subsequently corn silage artificially infected with Fusarium strains with nutritive value of untreated plants. The standing corn plants from inoculated area in milk stage of maturity were harmed with wire brush and infected with a suspension of Fusarium strains. Entire corn plants were harvested at the soft dough stage of maturity and ensilaged in microsilage tubes. The results suggest that corn plants artificially infected with the suspension of Fusarium strains had lower nutritive value in fresh status as well as after ensilagement.
