Recycling of electrical materials as a tool for environmental education of future teachers - plenary session
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
In the context of the growing environmental crisis and the need for sustainable development, recycling is gaining importance not only as an ecological but also as an educational tool. This article presents an innovative approach to teaching future teachers through project-based learning focused on the recycling of electrotechnical materials, especially from discarded electrical equipment. As part of the project, students of the Faculty of Education learned to make functional clocks from recycled printed circuit boards (PCBs), thereby acquiring not only technical skills but also the principles of circular economy, teamwork and risk management. The article describes the individual phases of the project, the possibilities of recycling various materials (metals, insulation, magnets, plastics, composites), and emphasizes the key competencies of a teacher when conducting such a type of teaching. The results show that linking environmental education with practical activities increases students' motivation and supports the development of their professional and personal skills.
