Counts of psychrotrophic lipolytic bacteria in cow`s raw milk samples from the aspect of technological quality
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The objective of the study was to analyze the relationship of psychrotrophic lipolytic bacteria in milk with the level of free fatty acids as an indicator of technological quality of milk on dairy farms with different management technology. The contamination of bulk samples of cow?s raw milk (n = 110) by psychrotrophic lipolytic bacteria (PLiBC) and total counts of psychrotrophic bacteria (PBC) and mesophilic bacteria (TBC) were determined by a culture method in accordance with IDF standards. The content of free fatty acids (FFA) was determined by an extraction-titration method and somatic cell count (SCC) was determined by flow cytometry with fluorescence detection. The study was conducted throughout 2008 on 11 farms with different management technology (5 farms with loose littered cubicle housing with milking in a milking parlour; 3 farms with loose litterless slatted-floor housing with milking in a milking parlour; 3 farms with stanchion littered housing with an in-stall milking pip
