Human resource management, which includes corporate communications and providing information to employees, is essential for small and medium-sized enterprises. In organization is a key subject of communication and a sense of belonging and involvement ofemployees in the operation of the organization in which they work, due to the changing realities of the market and related business innovation with a focus on the competitiveness of enterprises and their goal is essential. The aim of this paper is to analyze the personnel system focusing on communication within the company. The paper is focused on the fundamental characteristics of companies making strategies for managing human resources and the importance of communication and functionality as areas inthe process of human resources management in micro, small and medium-sized enterprises. Data was obtained through a questionnaire survey carried out with owners and managers of small and mediumsized enterprises of the South Bohemian Regio
