The Phases of Work Effort and the Student?s Syndrome Model
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The paper deals with a relationship between resource allocation and its work effort from the Student?s Syndrome point of view. In the Project Management praxis it is very difficult to estimate a real amount of planned tasks work. Student?s Syndrome is the term from Project Management that describes the influence of a human factor on the work effort. Although a task is practically completed, resource's work effort dramatically decreases; then, the task is finished on time but no time slack is obtained. This observation is in concordance with common results of the First Parkinson?s Law. The First Parkinson?s Law and the Student?s Syndrome commonly occur in many tasks in which human labour forces participate as one of the allocated resources. Effective management and the good motivation of human resources can minimize a negative influence of this syndrome and this law. The paper deals with a mathematical model of Student?s Syndrome.
