The aim of the paper is to determine whether lifelong learning in the non-state non-profit sector is a necessity for the successful functioning of non-state non-profit organizations. Partial aim is to analyse the system of lifelong learning in selected non-profit organizations in a given region. The theoretical part is based on the study of documents, the practical part is based on quantitative and qualitative approach to sociological research. For this purpose, questionnaires were used among employees of non-profit sector and semi standardized interviews with those involved in influencing the operation of non-profit organizations. For the analysis a simple statistical evaluation and comparison method were used. Relations between variables were constructed into the association and contingency tables, which were the basis for further statistical evaluation. A positive finding was that rather than the possibility of obtaining higher wages, respondents identified knowledge, work success and moral achiev
