The antibodies to different genera of Campylobacteria have been prepared. Cultures of Campylobacter jejuni, C. coli and C. fetus subsp. fetus were grown in anaerobic jars at 37 C for 72 h on Park and Sanders broth. Formalinized cells were used as immunogens. In addition to the partially purified glycine extract from C. jejuni and C. coli cells was prepared. Adult White New Zealand white rabbits and Leghorn chicken were immunized with protein preparations.
