POSSIBILITIES AND LIMITS OF USING THE GOLDEN PROFILER OF PERSONALITY (GPOP) IN THE CONTEXT OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF UNIVERSITY STUDENTS‘ COMPETENCIES
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
This study addresses the use of the Golden Profiler of Personality (GPOP) questionnaire with university students. GPOP results can be used to develop university students‘ competencies (soft skills) and communication skills. The GPOP questionnaire is also compared with other psychodiagnostics tools with similar theoretical backgrounds, and the possibilities of its applications are discussed. The present study also examines the relationship between the Golden Profiler of Personality scores and the NEO Five-Factor Inventory NEO FFI to determine the construct validity of GPOP. Golden Profiler of Personality is based on the theory of C. G. Jung and the work of K. C. Briggs and I. Myers. GPOP has stimulated the development of the questionnaire MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) and the Five-factor personality theory. Combining two completely different approaches it comes into an assessment able to interpret on the one side, the uniqueness of personality, and on the second side its resemblance to a certain type.
