This paper presents the European, Erasmus+ project – “Polish Online” prepared by an international group of researchers and IT application developers from six countries: Poland, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia and Germany. Pedagogical University of Cracow is a leader of the project. The group is working on a new language application for learning Polish polski.info, and the main objective of this text is to provide an overview of the project context, reflect on Polish autonomous learners’ needs and identify adult students’ perceptions of their language and culture content needs. This article also examines the content of the Polish language learning platform.
