In diesem Beitrag werden Ergebnisse von zwei Experimenten präsentiert: Einerseits werden didaktische Strategien aus der Perspektive ihrer Attraktivität und Innovation analysiert, die im Rahmen eines Sommer-Schnell-Deutschkurses in der Presse zur Propagation der deutschen Sprache eingesetzt wurden. Andererseits wird präsentiert, welchen Effekt solche Strategien in einer realen Experimentiersituation mit Deutsch-Lernenden auf ihre Motivation, ihr Verständnis und andere Aspekte des Deutschlernens im Vergleich zu „klassischen“ Materialien wie z. B. Lehrwerken hatten. Dabei werden verschiedene Spezifika und Bedürfnisse der Lernenden in Betracht gezogen.

The paper presents the results of a double experiment: firstly, an analysis of the teaching strategies of learning German used in a German summer crash course published in the press, with the analysis focusing mainly on the attractiveness and innovative nature of the strategies used. Secondly, it presents the effect such strategies had on the learners’ motivation, comprehension and other aspects of learning German in a real experimental situation with German learners. The results were subsequently compared with the conventional sources, i.e. text books. At the same time, various individual requirements and needs the learners may have while learning were taken into account.
