TOOLS FOR DEVELOPING INFORMATIVE THINKING
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
In a time when digital technology is used not only in schools but also in other institutions, everyone is expected to be digitally competent, information and communication literate and be capable of computational thinking. The question is how to develop these skills, and at what educational level they should be developed. The goal is to change the perception of informatics, i.e. to encourage students to analyze information and solve problems step by step, i.e. algorithmically. As a result, students should be able to apply the acquired skills not only in other school subjects but also in everyday life. We can start with children by teaching them to think algorithmically in a fun way, using various tools and programs such as the Bee-Bot robotic toy, Ozobot or LighBoth and Scratch Junior programs. The paper is aimed at those tools, i.e. tools used for developing computational and algorithmic thinking. It describes the individual tools and explains how they can be effectively used in instruction.
