English Language Development via Erasmus+: Students' Feedback
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Within Erasmus+ Exchange programme, the contribution of improvement in English language is multiplied by the English-speaking environment in lessons, life in university campus (including halls of residence), travelling and shopping in the Czech Republic etc. Moreover, each Erasmus+ student has an obligatory study plan designed before arrival. It requires that following the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) 20 credits must be reached within one semester as minimum. In practice, students attend professional subjects relation to their home study programme, and also English lessons towards improving their proficiency in English. According to the Czech Ministry of Education, each subject must be supported by electronic materials, which within this research means a course in the Learning Management System (LMS) Moodle which enhances the face-to-face lessons. Thus the requirement of blended learning is met, additionally supported by the impact of the after-school English-speaking environment.
