The paper presents result of the project that investigated the Development Centre (DC) impact on employee training. The project implementations concerned employees of specific IT companies. The DC training and education is based on the Assessment Centremethodology, and the Competence Model. The DC serves not only for the staff development, but also for employee selection and evaluation. DC?s refer to corporate developing programmes, and their impact is considered to be more accurate, and better to match aims to create corporate educational programmes both individual and group oriented. The DC?s action represents an initial step of training as it can function as a diagnostic tool that can provide for the analysis of educational specific needs. Based onthe key competencies of the employee, a detailed training follows. The immediate objective of this paper is to describe and analyse the needs of a corporate Development Centre (DC) as regards educative and training provisions for an IT c
