Software Support of Nonparametric Control Charts

The topic of this article is software support of nonparametric control charts. The first part of the article focuses on the current situation in SW supporting statistical process control. There are compared the most commonly used SW programs, such as Statgraphics, Minitab, Palstat, and others on the basis of a range of control charts covered by these SW programs, including the nonparametric ones. The second part of the article deals with the presentation of already created SW support for selected nonparametric control charts (Nonparametric Cusum Control Chart, Progressive Mean Control Chart, etc.) within MS Excel. All the obtained knowledge is summarized at the end of this article.
