Atypical employment contracts during crisis
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The paper handles the question of the atypical employment contracts during the economic crisis mainly in the period 2007-2013. The aim is twofold: (i) to analyse the evolution of atypical contracts, mainly part-time and fixed term contracts; (ii) to analyse the relation between part- and full-time works and between fixed term contracts and other contracts. To fulfil the aim the comparative analysis and correlation analysis are applied. The obtained results show that part-time contracts were affected during the observed period. The number of part-time workers increased by 11% and this increase influenced mainly men as women part-time decreased slightly. On the other hand the temporary contracts were affected only slightly as their share and distributionduring observed categories has changed only negligibly. From the obtained results it is obvious that employers prefer to exploit part-time contracts in the time of the economic problems.
