Introduction to NVIDIA CUDA Quantum
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The course focused on the challenges of the noisy intermediate-scale quantum (NISQ) era, where quantum computers are significantly impacted by quantum noise. Participants explored the need for substantial computing power to simulate quantum behaviour accurately. The course introduced NVIDIA CUDA Quantum software, demonstrating how it enables simulations using multiple CPUs or GPUs. Particular attention was given to programming the software and utilising its features for simulating quantum circuits with larger numbers of qubits, simulating quantum noise, and applying specific quantum circuits on multiple CPUs or GPUs. The final segment of the course addressed the use of quantum processors (QPUs) from hardware manufacturers and their emulation.
