Im Fokus übersetzungswissenschaftlicher Studien stehen vorwiegend lexikalische bzw. fachsprachliche Besonderheiten, deren denotative Bedeutung problematisch übertragbar ist. Mit dieser Arbeit setzt sich der Autor zum Ziel, auf das linguistische Phänomen „Argument" und seine für die adäquate Übersetzung wichtigen Aspekte aufmerksam zu machen. Als Ausgangskorpus dient dabei die gesprochene politische Sprache in Tschechien, die anhand von handlungsorientierten Ansätzen analytisch betrachtet, ins Deutsche übersetzt und kommentiert wird. Die meisten sprachlichen Mittel sind morphosyntaktischer Natur, wobei auch einige bisher unerforschte Abtönungspartikeln behandelt werden.

Translation studies usually deal with lexical issues or professional discourse and its denotative meaning, which is problematic to translate. The author aims to draw attention to the linguistic phenomenon "argument" and all aspects relevant for its adequate translation. The study is based on a corpus of spoken political language in Czechia, which is analyzed with respect to action-oriented methods, translated into German and commented on. Most of the given language means are part of morphosyntax, however, there are also some modal particles that have not been researched before.
