The main goal of the workshop was to provide students with a platform to present and receive feedback on their research projects (e.g., IGA projects) or research design for a chapter in their dissertation. This included problematic or unfinished chapters that required assistance and expert advice. Students had the opportunity to choose their focus, but it had to relate to unresolved aspects of their research proposal or dissertation, such as methodological challenges, and seek support accordingly. The workshop was conducted interactively and consisted of two parts. The first part included introductory lectures held in October—three sessions conducted once a week over three weeks. Topics covered research motivation, conceptualization, identifying research gaps, formulating main research questions, and defining the primary goal of the paper or chapter.
