Relationships Between Personal Characteristics, Job Satisfaction and Organisational Behaviour of Work Team Members and the Role of Organisational Agility Maturity

  • Popis výsledku v původním jazyce

The aim of this study is to analyse the relationships between the personal professional competencies, maturity of organisational agility, job satisfaction and organisational citizenship behaviour of employees in work teams, as these can influence work performance and competitiveness of organisation. The data collection took place in the period 1/2023 - 3/2023 in a sample of 25 work teams (N = 135) from different economic sectors in Slovakia. The questionnaire battery consists of 298 items. We used multilevel correlation and multilevel regression analyses, factor analyses and structural modelling. The multi-level correlation analysis showed positive correlations with job satisfaction for all scales of the Bochum Personality Inventory (BIP) questionnaire (between 0.097 and 0.406), 10 of which were statistically significant. The results show that job competencies predict job satisfaction, that job satisfaction correlates positively with employees' organisational citizenship behaviour (OCB) and that the moderating effect of organisational agility on the relationship between job competencies and job satisfaction could not be demonstrated. We found a statistically significant positive relationship between Agility Maturity (OAM) and job satisfaction (DMPS). With the exception of some scales, no differences were found in the observed variables in relation to the demographic characteristics of the respondents. We discuss the possible causes, point out the limitations and suggest implications.
