Inclusion and Diversity in Tertiary Education Mobility Recognition: Challenges, Opportunities, and Policy Directions
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The global landscape of higher education has undergone a dramatic transformation over the last two decades, marked by the expansion of international and regional student mobility programs such as Erasmus+, Fulbright, and a multitude of national exchange schemes. While these initiatives are promoted as vehicles for intercultural understanding, knowledge exchange, and global citizenship, they have also been critiqued for reproducing structural inequalities in access, recognition, and participation. This article interrogates the intersection of inclusion, diversity, and mobility recognition in tertiary education. It analyzes how institutional, national, and supranational policies respond to the need for equitable validation of learning and mobility experiences, particularly for underrepresented and marginalized students. Drawing on policy analysis and international case studies, the article outlines key challenges and proposes pathways toward more inclusive and just frameworks for the recognition of academic mobility.
