Apollonius’ Problems in Secondary Education Using ICT
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The article focuses on some types of Apollonius’ problems, such that even secondary school students can solve them. The focus on Apollonius’ problems is because Apollonius' problems have always occupied a particularly important place among planimetric problems. The reason is that their solution requires knowledge of various mathematical relationships, but also because many new findings were discovered during their solution. Apollonius' problems are not standard problems in mathematics teaching in secondary education. Within the project "Non-standard problems in mathematics education", we want to point out the possibilities of integrating non-standard problems into mathematics education, which are more difficult to solve, but with the help of ICT can be solved by pupils of secondary education. We emphasize the use of ICT in solving mathematical problems. To solve geometric problems are currently mainly used dynamic geometry tools - GeoGebra. This tool has the potential to enable pupils of lower secondary education to solve geometric problems more quickly, more precisely, more clearly and also solve more complex problems. We also point out the current changes in the perception of mathematics education leading to the development of pupils’ digital literacy in conjunction with the development of their mathematical literacy.
