The data collected were statisticallyanalyzed using percentage count and regression analysis. The findings revealedthat teachers do not use complementary audio-visual instructional support forchildren with intellectual disability having hearing impairment. Also, totalcommunication makes significant contribution to effective classroomaccommodation for children with intellectual disability having comorbid hearingimpairment. It was recommended among others that there should be combinedefforts of government and schools to design hearing screening services for allchildren with intellectual disability to determine eligibility for auditory supportprogrammes.
