Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The paper focuses on the issue of the interdisciplinary integration and the possibility of integrative teaching. It presents a specific educational project entitled The Many Forms of a River, which shows the potential of art education for cultivating interdisciplinarity. The project reflects on the impact human activity has on the form of rivers, and interconnects art education with biology, ecological education, geography and other disciplines. The project is intended for school and extracurricular education, and it consists of a methodical minisite with videos, photographs, original illustrations and educational assignments, which aim to make children and students think about the risks of river regulation and the value of the natural environment shaped by the river. The objective of this project is to bring students to a holistic perception of the ecosystem, and to reflect on the benefits and risks of human intervention in nature. It shows that rivers play an irreplaceable role in the landscape: they are not only a source of water, but also a key element of the ecosystem. Human activity can have a devastating impact on the entire landscape and the life in it. The project is an example of how to convey this topic to children and students and how to lead them to a deeper understanding through interdisciplinary integration.
