An attitude toward inclusion instrument based on the teory of planned behavior for prospective Czech physical educators
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The purpose of the study was to develop a valid and reliable instrument to measure beliefs, attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control, and intention of university students in physical education teacher preparation programs toward inclusionof students with physical disabilities into general physical education classes in the Czech Republic. Participants were 192 university students (111 females, 80 males) enrolled in physical education teacher preparation programs. Content validity was established through panel of experts in Czech Republic and in the USA. Construct validity was established through correlation, multiple hierarchical regression technique and known differences, showing attitudes to be significant predictors of behavioral intentions and revealing significant differences between two known groups with p on all subscales being smaller then .01. Alpha coefficients ranged from .71 to .94. None of the scores on stability test-retest technique, measured by repeated m
