Individualized floorball and basketball physical education lessons

The aim of the thesis was to verify the possibility of the use of individualized school physical education (PE) lessons in the educational process. It consisted of monitoring pupils' physical activity in PE lessons. Caltrac Accelerometers and the Omron and Polar Sport Testers were used as tools to obtain the data. Pupils' assessment of PE lessons was acquired using standardized questionnaires. All comparisons of habitual and individualized lessons were done from the aspect of the gender and lesson content. The research took place at Gymnazium Čajkovského in Olomouc during coed PE lessons in forms 1, 2, and 3. For the research itself, models of basketball and floorball PE lessons were created both in traditional and individualized versions. From the applied research techniques, we chose Omron pedometres, which find out the number of steps, skips and body movements in pupils, Caltrac accelerometres, which examine pupils´energy output; and Polar Sport Testers, which monitor pulse frequenc
