Self-reflection of the University Students in Financial Literacy

Financial literacy belongs to the key competencies of a university graduated person in the 21st century. In our research, we focused on the students of two faculties with related study curriculum located in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. In addition to the level of financial literacy, we have focused on elements of self-reflective assessment of the students themselves. In this paper, we present the results of our comparative analysis of this self-reflective evaluation in relation to the results achieved, with respect to the study fields. The results of these analyses also provide the appropriate background to increase the effectiveness of education in the area of financial literacy.
