Plagiarism in the opinion of FRDIS students

The text deals with the phenomenon of plagiarism which has become a much discussed topic recently in the Czech Republic. The paper consists of a theoretical part illustrating the term plagiarism and academic ethics. Afterwards, we analyzed the data conducted by the structural questionnaire from the students studying at the Faculty of Regional Development and International Studies. The data was collected in May and June 2018 and expresses personal experience, recommendations, and other information about the attitude of the students toward plagiarism. The aim of this text is to mainly discuss the issue of plagiarism and present possible recommendations in order to reduce plagiarism the FRDIS. The recommendations may also be implemented at other faculties around the world.
