The role of the Institute of Lifelong Learning as a university department of the Mendel University in Brno is to prepare the future teachers of vocational and practical subjects and vocational training for their job in the bachelor study program of Specialization in Pedagogy. The study program focuses on acquiring of theoretical knowledge, as well as practical skills required of professional teachers at secondary vocational schools and vocational schools. The thesis pays attention to assessing the quality of teaching in bachelor study programs in comparison with assessment of the quality of teaching in similar courses at other universities in the Czech Republic.
