Pure and raw glycerol in the diet of broiler chickens, its effect on the production parameters and slaughter value
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The experiment started with 180 one-day-old ROSS 308 meat hybrid combination chickens that were divided (according to gender) into C1 and C2 control groups and two experimental groups: GLY-P1 and P2 with pure glycerol and GLY-R1 and R2 with raw glycerol.During the experiment, chickens received three types of feeding mixtures in form of mash according to the following regimen: the pre-fattening mixture (BR 1) was administered until 14 days of age, the mixture for fattening from 5 to 30 days of age (BR 2), and the post-fattening mixture from 31 to 40 days of age (BR 3). 50% of soybean oil in the feeding mixtures used in experimental groups (GLY-P and GLY-R) was replaced with pure or raw glycerol at a ratio of 1:2. The feed and water were available ad libitum. The substitution of soybean oil with glycerol resulted in changes in the content of some nutrients (particularly amino acids, fatty acids) in feeding mixtures. On Days 15 and 40 of fattening, both male and female chickens in experi
