From an early age a complex network of interaction between the child and his environment is shaped. Spending leisure time with parents and involvement of children in appropriate activities allow parents and children to develop and deepen their mutual relations. At the same time, new qualities of social behavior of the children are created, mainly based on the development of social understanding. Children naturally experience many situations, behavior and contact with parents in a different way than howadults think. The paper introduces the level of participation of parents and children on their daily life in selected activities. It follows and compares the parents' perceptions match with images of children on the extent of such participation.
