The survey of municipal managers educational demands in Kralovehradecký and Pardubický region of the Czech Republic is given in the contribution. The survey is focused on structure of information, types of skills, and knowledge which are important for the municipal managers, and on the willingness of the mayors to participate in e-learning form of study. The municipal financing, economics, and basic legal rules were found as the most important subjects fore municipal managers. Most of the managers expressed their willingness to participate in further educational process. More than half of them were interested in distance e-learning course participation.
