The trend of vocational education today is distance learning through so called e-Learning. Advantages of e-Learning education are low financial costs, time easiness, better availability for students and individual approach. Profession of social workers requires continuous improvement, knowledge expansion, both in current field of social work and as well as in new fields which appear. One of these areas is education of social workers in the field of helping particularly vulnerable crime victims. The paper will focus on possibilities of e-Learning education of social workers in practice. It will aim at interest and assessment of advantages or disadvantages of professional education through e-Learning course, which would enhance the knowledge of social workers in the area in helping the victims of crime. This field is up to date, however, education of social workers in this area is insufficient. Within university education of future social workers are these courses of e-Learning used as a support of common teaching. The aim will be to find out whether social workers in practice consider e-Learning completion of vocational education sufficient. The survey objective is to verify possibilities of professional e-Learning education in the practice of social work.
