Der Beitrag erschließt den Text, der auf dem Spiegel des hinternen Deckels der spätmittelalterlichen Handschrift, Signatur HK 902, Zuwachsnummer 37/2003 eingeklebt ist, welche in Regionalmuseum Karel Alois Polánek in Saaz aufbewahrt wird. Der Text beschreibt die Geschichte der Rosenkranzbruderschaft nach ihrer Rerform durch den Dominikaner Alanus de Rupe in der zweiten Hälfte des 15. Jahrhunderts. Er enthält ebenfals eine Anleitung, wie man richtig den Marienpsalters beten soll, und führt die Vorteile an, die das Einhalten der entsprechenden Regeln mit sich bringt. Der Text wurde 1478 auf Deutsch geschrieben und seine Entstehung kann ins deutsch-böhmische Grenzgebiet, nach Nordwestböhmen bzw. Bayern lokalisiert werden.

The article provides acces to the text sealed on the inside back cover of the late medieval manuscript call number: HK 902, acc. No. 37/2003, which is housed in the Regional Museum of Karel Alois Polánek in Žatec (Saaz). This text describes the history of the Rosary Brotherhood after its reform by Dominican Alanus de Rupe in the second half of the 15th century. The text provides guidanse on how to correctly pray the Prayer Psalter of the Virgin Mary and suggest the benifits of adhering to the relevant rules. Written in 1478, the German text’s origin can be localized to the German-Czech border of Northwest Bohemia and Bavaria.
