The study is part of a cross-cultural (Swedish-Slovak) research project, whose aim is to study norm-breaking behavior, attitudes and maladjustment symptoms in 15-year-old adolescents. It is a study of parents? and peers? influence on self-evaluation, behavior intentions and real behavior of adolescents in 8 situations (representing norm-breaking behavior). The studied sample of 1843 participants is a representative sample of a Slovak city with 100,000 inhabitants. The SEM model of these influences in boys and girls is verified. The goodness of fit of the model and its generalisability across gender is tested.
